Welcome to the 2011-2012 Cross Country Ski Season!

 

Bulletin: 1/24/12 4-H CANSKI members.  With new snow and moderate winter temperatures, this should be a great week to ski!  4-H CANSKI will run at all levels this week.  Tu and Th the recreational MS and HS skiers will ski (Tues at Ashwabay, Thurs at Ashland or Ashwabay depending on conditions in Ashland).  Elementary skiers will ski Friday behind the elementary school.  Talk with your level contact/coaches with questions, or call our office if you have questions.  BART will be running for those that use a BART pass for CANSKI.  Tuesday they'll have extra seats because the racers are at a meet.  Get out and enjoy winter!

 

The 4H-CANSKI xc ski club (Chequamegon Area Nordic Ski Club) is a partnership between Ashland and Bayfield County 4-H and local schools.

 

The mission of 4H-CANSKI is to promote fun, fitness, safety and excellence in the lifelong sport of cross country skiing. 4H-CANSKI provides ongoing instruction, social opportunities and leadership development for skiers of all levels. We will emphasize technique, conditioning, safety and provide leadership opportunities all in a fun filled atmosphere in the great outdoors.
